Dr. Castillo was born and raised in Anasco, Puerto Rico. She studied Biology at Pontificia Catholic University of Puerto Rico with the intention of pursuing a Master's Degree in Mycology. However, after a friend invited her to attend a meeting in which a professor from a Chiropractic College would be speaking, she was inspired to change her mind about her academic interests.
She realized the power of Chiropractic a week later when she was invited by a friend to attend a visit to a chiropractor. After recognizing that this was her calling, she immediately canceled her plans to get the Master's Degree in Mycology and started the admission process for Sherman College of Chiropractic.
She then relocated to Spartanburg, South Carolina to begin her life's passion of helping others have a higher quality of life. She relocated to Houston after earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is now assisting people to live the lives they deserve.
Her other interests include hiking, reading history books, and discovering new restaurants. These are some reasons why Texas is the ideal place for her.
Dr. Castillo is fluent in Spanish and English.
I have been a patient for years. The doctors and staff are the best at rendering care and customer service. Every time I go I leave feeling better than when I walked in.
I tried another chiropractic clinic (only because it was closer to my home) and it just didn't compare. CORE Chiropractic got my back.
